Barry Topp has invited back Golly and the gang to play at his steam cider press open days. Demonstrations during this 2 day event include a steam driven cider press, hurdle makers, wood turning and its all going be Plonkerised, as Golly and The Plonkers will appearing live (providing they don't have too much cider)

Janet and Golly are in Sark all week, taking along their musical instruments, and they will be playing wherever they can.
Sark has been Plonkerised before, and the whole island are eagerly awaiting this return visit.

The World Sheep Dog Trials, Food & Country Festival
Food and Country Fair, The Lowther Estate, Penrith
The picturesque Lowther Estates in Cumbria, is home to The 2011 World Sheep Dog Trials. Food and Country Fair
The Plonkers will be bringing a touch of the New Forest to Cumbria with their blend of Scrumpy and Western music and culture.
Fri 16th Sep, The Plonkers are performing in the day and evening,
Sat 17th and Sun 18th The Plonkers are performing in the daytime. 
The picturesque Lowther Estates in Cumbria, England, is home to the 2011 World Sheep Dog Trials. Lowther Park is the largest outdoor events venue in the Lake District and in 2009 it played host to the International Sheep Dog Trials. To be held, September 15-18 2011, the World Trial will feature 240 dogs and handlers from 23 nations.
On of eve of the World Trials on Wednesday, September 14, there will be a parade through the streets of Penrith. It will be headed by the Penrith Town Band, which will be followed by a horse-drawn carriage driven by 19-times world carriage-driving champion George Bowman and carrying the Earl and Countess of Lonsdale. They will be followed by all the competing dogs and their handlers, who will be carrying their national flags. Many will also be dressed in national costume. Afterwards, they will all return to the trials site at Thrimby for a hog roast and live entertainment.

The 6th Bowood Charity Dog Show and Summer Fair will be open from 10am to 5pm.
This will be the 6th Bowood Charity Dog Show and Summer Fair, started by the Marchioness of Lansdowne to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and other local charities. This year The Plonkers are playing live from lunchtime onwards
Bowood is one of Wiltshire's finest Parks; steeped in history this magical place has something for everyone.
